The Sheepskin Experts, Inc. began as a strictly wholesale company, manufacturing fine sheepskin products in Argentina, where we continued for the first 12 years. Then, in 1996, we turned to New Zealand and Australia for production. Today we offer both imported products and tailor-made products made by our own tailors right here in the U.S.A.

Seven years ago, we opened a showroom in Van Nuys, CA to better serve our retail customers in the Los Angeles area. Located in the heart of the new car dealerships in the San Fernando Valley, we have access to new seat patterns as soon as a new automobile hits the market! Our philosophy of caring for our customers might be called old-fashioned, but we believe that the best way to create a successful business is to take such good care of our customers that they return again and again, recommending us along the way. At Sheepskin Experts, we consider returning customers to be of such vital importance that we reward our repeat customers accordingly.

The statistics prove that our philosophy works! When we moved to the Van Nuys location, 25-30% of our customers were returning. Now, a mere seven years later, at least 50% of our business comes from repeat customer and/or referrals.

How do we know that manufacturing the finest products in the market produce happy customers? Since we offer on-site installation, we have the privilege of witnessing their happy faces first hand. We also keep a record of pictures of seat covers installed on many different cars. This allows our customers to see first hand what their finished job will look like.
